Facts You Should Know About Salvation

You Need To Be Saved

For ALL HAVE SINNED, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

You Cannot Save Yourself

NOT by works of righteousness which ye have done, but according to His mercy He saved us. (Titus 3:5)

God Has Provided For Your Salvation

For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. (Hebrews 10:12)

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25)

Jesus is THE ONLY WAY of Salvation

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

God Wants To Save You

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)

God Will Save You NOW

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (II Corinthians 6:2)

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

Acknowledge Yourself As A Sinner

For I acknowledged my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. (Psalms 51:3)

Face The Fact That You Are A Sinner

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Romans 5:12)

Believe That God Will Do What He Says In The Bible

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31)

Repent Turn To God

I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3)

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21)

Call From Your Heart Ask The Lord To Save You.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

And the Publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast saying God be merciful to me a sinner. (Luke 18:13)

NOW THAT I AM SAVED WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Be Assured Of Salvation

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (I John 5:13)

Be Baptized

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls (Acts 2:41)

Go To Church Regularly

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25)

Read Your Bible Daily

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)

Pray Daily

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. (Luke 18:1)

Tell Others About Christ

After Andrew was saved He went out and found his own brother Simon and brought him to Jesus. (John 1:41, 42)

When the woman at the well was saved, she went out and brought others to Jesus. (John 4)

Now that you are saved, you should get busy bringing others to Jesus. (Luke 14:23; John 15:8, 16)
